Atlantic designed and installed a three-zone forced air HVAC system for my beach townhouse and solved our long-standing problem of a hot third floor and a freezing cold first floor. We got quotes from other installers, but none were as interested in installing the right system for us as Atlantic was. And the attention to detail extended to the installation crew as well. They were courteous, they cleaned up the work area daily, and above all, they seemed to care about doing the job right.
They took such good care of my mom. I live in another state and they contacted me and verified and consulted with me about everything. A pleasure to deal with.
When I had to have my old HVAC systems replaced I interviewed several companies. Donald Bunting had the patience of a saint & answered all my questions without any hype. What he didn't have an answer for he researched and got back to me. Believe me when I say he has stayed attentive to any slight problem I've had. Am glad I went with Atlantic Refrigeration!
It was 28 degrees outside and my old system had refused to turn on. I called four different companies for quotes on a new heat pump. Despite the dire situation, I was getting appointment two or three days out. When I called Atlantic, Connor was at my door within the hour, he quoted me a far better price than the others and the new system was installed the very next morning. Excellent service, price and equipment, why go anywhere else?
I was very thankful that a tech was able to come the same day I called with the problem. He was very polite and found the issue and fixed it staying past dark. Great company!

I have to commend Donald our sales specialist and Josh and Ralph our install specialists. Having worked for a premier HVAC company in CT our standards are high and our standards were met. Donald was very informative and gave many options to satisfy our needs to improve the air circulation in our home. Scheduling was very quick and R & J arrived when scheduled and were so good, friendly. Protected our carpet. Figured out any problems we were having,to make sure all rooms had even air,flow. My only complaint would be we won't need them again,for 15 years!! Donald's follow up call the day after also was greatly appreciated. We also felt that once installed the job was not over, but that we could ask questions once we turn to a/c etc. Highly recommend Atlantic.

While doing a preventative maintenance Monday the customer whose house Andrew was at passed out cold. He hit his head causing injury as well as injuring his arm. Andrew stepped right up called paramedics and kept the customer alert until help arrived. The customers wife was there and called today to THANK Andrew for being there at that exact time. She said had Andrew not been there to render first aid and help maneuver the customer it would have been a different outcome. The customer did spend most of his day in the hospital but was later released.
I got a call last night from a elderly guy in Lewes that tracked down my cell number . Last week he was walking in Lewes and fell down on the road . Ralph ( Joshes Helper) was working on a job near where the man fell . He called to ask me to pass along thanks to Ralph and to tell me what a help he was . Thanks Ralph for taking the time to help this man .

The new furnace and heat pump system that Jamie Nickerson designed and installed has exceeded my expectations. My last two Delmarva Power bills have been less than $100 in the heat of the summer in peak season. I've been having work done to my home and I set the thermostat lower so workers would be comfortable and the front door has been left open numerous times but my utility bill has still been the lowest I've ever had in the summer season. Thank you Atlantic Refrigeration! I'll always be a loyal customer! I highly recommend you to anyone who needs HVAC work or a complete system upgrade.

We wanted to send a note, to let you know how happy we were with the service we received from Atlantic Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. We are new to Sussex County, and when we were without air conditioning in our condo last week we just weren't sure who to call. We realized that your company's name and phone number were listed on our air conditioning unit, as who to call for service, so we placed the call.
From our first dealings with Carol over the phone, to the professional and courteous service we received from Bill Holson when he arrived to diagnose and fix the problem, we knew we had made the right decision when we called Atlantic Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. We know it was an extremely busy day for your company, and didn't expect that a technician would be able to come out the same day, but Carol assured us that someone would be out at some point during the day. We didn't want to take an entire day off work, so Carol was extremely understanding and told us we would receive a call, and have a 30 minute window to get home and meet the technician. I felt bad when I called from work a couple of times during the day to check on an arrival time, however, Carol was more than accommodating, and even went on to say that it was certainly not a bother for me to call her.
We previously owned our own business, and certainly understand the difficulties that go along with owning your own business. We were always grateful for feedback from the people we served, and were always ecstatic when the feedback was positive. We certainly have high praises for both Carol and Bill, and know if the rest of your staff are as professional, courteous and experienced as these two, you will continue to have success. Don, Absolutely, I don’t know why I didn’t have this done before now. The thermostat works immediately, and thoroughly. A hidden extra, when Carolyn and I don’t agree on the need for air conditioning, I just go into the man cave, close the door, and switch it on in my climate specific man cave.

Hello Atlantic Refrigeration & Air Management. My name is Tom Golden I thought it appropriate to recognize the efforts of one of your employees. My wife and I recently had a top of the line Trane furnace and heat pump installed in our house in Ocean View Delaware by your reputable employees. We had to call out one of your Technicians to help with a wiring jumper problem on the board of the heating system. Jason Cooner was the technician who responded t our call. Jason could not have been nicer with us and very professional, he ran pressure testing and troubleshot until he narrowed down the problem. I have been in industry for thirty six years and rarely have I seen an employee with the concentration and focus to want to solve a problem the way Jason did with our heating and cooling system. I really felt like Jason was not going to leave until that unit was right.
In a world where people are easy to criticize but not complement for excellent service I felt that Jason should be recommended for the work he did for us. Needless to say, I got his business card and will not hesitate to call him if I have any other problems (hopefully none) with the unit. We selected Atlantic Ref & Air to install the new heat pump and heat system because a neighbor who also had a four ton unit installed in our neighborhood by your company was impressed by what he saw. After seeing Jamie and Jason do the technical service troubleshooting end of the business I know I picked the right company.
As Managers, please take a moment and complement Jason on his work that he did for us. Your are lucky to have him as an employee. Great work Jason!
I wanted you to know how much I appreciated the courtesy and professionalism exhibited by Scott and Mainor during their installation of our HVAC system in Eagles landing this week! They were neat, prompt, quick, and effective and our unit works GREAT! These guys can certainly be categorized as a strong company asset. From my experience, in a service industry it's always the people that make the difference, and these guys were terrific. As you know, this job involved removing the old system and installing the new system as well replacing the old duct work while working in the very uncomfortable crawl spaces and attic.

On August 5, 2010, your company installed a new heat pump in my home. Each member of your staff connected with the process was outstanding. They were helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and professional and a credit to your company.
I heard about your company when I heard you several times on the Dan Gaffney show on WGMD on Monday mornings. I thought to myself, "that guy sounds really professional; when I heed AC work, I'm calling Atlantic".
In July, my 10 year old, builder's grade unit died, so I called you and one other company I had used before for comparison. I talked to Donald Bunting, he asked a few questions, including the model number of my old unit and made an appointment for several days later. When he arrived, he had a draft written estimate with two options. The other company had come the day before totally unprepared with nothing in writing and gave me a verbal, ridiculously high price. My next decision was not hard to make. I re-contracted Mr. Bunting and made the appointment and did the paperwork.
Melvin and JC came on August 5, one of the hottest and miserably humid days of this summer. My air handler is in the attic. Nevertheless, they cheerfully and very competently worked all day but were unable to finish. It's August 6 as I write this and they are here finishing up right now. They are two great guys and you are lucky to have them. They are extremely professional.
After they left yesterday I noticed the condenser on my other system wasn't working. Without going into a lot of detail; I called Mr. bunting and he sent Chris Bennett later in the evening. Chris is really outstanding. He diagnosed the problem in a few minutes and got it working. The breaker panel was mismarked and Melvin had turned off the wrong breaker. It could happen to anyone. I'm sure when they throw the switch in a few minutes, the new system will kick right over.
I was impressed with everyone and with you company in general. When my other system goes; you'll be getting a call from me. I've already recommended you to several friends who have aging systems.
I hope that you will pass my comments on to Melvin, JC, Chris, and Donald. They deserve a well done.

Hey hey hey... we just got a tax credit for $8,500.00 and a check from the state of DE for $2,400.00 for putting in Geothermal. Not only did our bills go down, our house is cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter and... with all the rebates and credits and benefits we will re-coop our investment in 3 years and then we will be ahead of the game by lowering our annual bills by over $3,400.00 a year. We cannot thank you enough. Your team was friendly and smart. They cleaned up and made all the necessary adjustments to everything runs perfectly. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Our heat and air conditioning has never been better. The air blows fresher, warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Our allergies have improved because of the filer system is so much better. Thank you for taking the time to help us figure out what works for us.
We had Geothermal installed and love it. Our utility bills have dropped significantly. We no longer have AC units in the yard. People ask us if we have central air since our home is over 100 years old. We get really excited to say, YES, we have Geothermaland then we take them on a tour of how it works. We are heating and cooling from the earth and that makes us smile. The unit is in the basement - quiet and smaller than our old units and works more efficiently. We had a boiler for heat and central air prior to installing Geothermal. Our house used to have an oil smell to it. We decided on Geothermal as another step in going green. Now we have clean air and no more crazy oil bills. We love knowing that our new system is eco friendly and energy efficient. It is a permanent solution for our old home. Altantic's service was awesome even during the blizzard! Thank you, Atlantic, for doing such a great job!!!!! You are by far the best company we have ever done business with - educated, professional, excellent service!

We are fortunate to have a service contract with you fine folks. Unfortunately we have had an ongoing issue with our cooling system on the main floor of the Inn that several of your techs have not been able to figure out. Robert Helens came out yesterday and didn't leave until he had found out that the unit controlling the downstairs was full of lint from the outside vents of our dryers had clogged up the system. We are now for the first time all summer completely cool on the main level much to the joy of our guests in general and me in particular. My highest compliments to Robert.

We called Atlantic for an appraisal to replace our downstairs HVAC system. Everything went great and they outbid the nearest competitor. The work was completed when requested and on time. the installation tech's were completly professional. we highly reccommend Atlantic to anyone looking to upgrade, repair or replace your existing systems. Rick Stout is Fantastic! My heater died on the coldest day of the winter. I had two other companies try to diagnose the problem. When the second one failed I called Atlantic for emergency service. Rick was there in less than an hour. After 15 minutes he had diagnosed the problem. Since it was late Friday night he could not get the needed part, but arranged to get the part Saturday morning. The supplier opened at 7 am, by 7:10 Rick called me saying he had the part and was on his way. By 8:15 am the heater was fixed. I will never go anywhere else but Atlantic for my HVAC needs.
Mr. Maynard, called about his service with Jorge yesterday. The Maynard's are new customers and this was their first call with Atlantic. Mr. Maynard said he did not have enough good words to describe how happy he was with Jorge’s service. He was professional, kind and very thorough. He said that Jorge is the kind of person you want doing work in your home, and seldom see any more. He felt that the system was in better condition when Jorge left than when it was new. Mr. Maynard added that he is not tech savvy, so he is unable to do the online survey but wants to make sure Jorge still gets the recognition he deserves.
